2. Inspection Booking COVID-19 Screening Requirements: If you or anyone on the property currently have flu like symptoms; have a compromised immune system; returned from travelling out of the country in the last 14 days; or attended a gathering of more than 15 people in the last 14 days, schedule your inspection for a time when all occupants are healthy or can be removed from the site to protect against the possible spread of COVID-19.
3. The City is now able to resume in-person site inspections in residential properties. Video Inspections are still available, however in order to provide the best customer service, the Inspector will decide which type of inspection to use based upon the permit type and availability. If the inspection will be done via video, a City Building Inspector will speak directly with the on-site contact and confirm the free Google Duo app is installed. Here are instructions on how to prepare for the optional video inspections: - Download Google Duo through App Store or Google Play Store. - Follow the prompts to complete the setup. - Have a tape measure, flashlight and multi bit tool readily available.
