Become a City Qualified Tradesman!
To be able to apply for contractor¿s trade permits in The City of Calgary, an individual Tradesman:
- Must meet the City of Calgary¿s requirements for trade qualification
- Must be registered with The City of Calgary as a City Qualified Tradesman, and
- Must be associated with a company licenced by The City of Calgary; either by obtaining a Contractor¿s Business Licence, or by providing a letter of authorization from the company licenced by The City of Calgary.

All qualifications must be presented to The City of Calgary for review, in accordance with the Safety Codes Act, the Alberta Building Code, and all relevant City Bylaws, Provincial and Federal Statutes or Regulations in force.
